I found that B&W Frankie couldn't be the only Skull Shores MH girl, SO I decided to Draculaura and Ghoulia. Now to get Lagoona and Abbey and I'll be all set. :-) So these lovely ladies were my ADAW stars last week.... forgot to post this. Oops!

Worry Wart (A Photo Story)

Candy: "Zoë, what's wrong?" 

Zoë: "Nothing." 

Candy: "I don't think that's true. Do you wanna talk about it?"

 Zoë: "I guess".

Candy: " So, what's wrong?" 

Zoë: "Remember when our person took my wig and gave it to Alexa? She told me I can Ginger's scalp because she has special plans for her. But I'm afraid that it's going to look stupid on me." 

Candy: " No it won't! Look at what our person did to my hair. I LOVE IT!" 

Zoë: "I love your hair too. Pink is pretty. I wish I could have pink hair." 

Candy: "No your red hair is going to look amazing. Just trust her. She won't stir you in the wrong direction. Just wait. Okay?" 

 Zoë: "If you say so." 

Candy: "Trust me. You're going to look amazing." 

Zoë: "I hope you're right." 

Candy: "I am." 

Zoë: "Thanks Candy." 

Candy: "You're welcome. Come give me a hug."

Need to Purchase Doll Customization Supplies

I didn't have the slightest clue on what is needed for doll customization but thanks to a post on TIB, I now have a starting point. Below are some of the supplies I will be gathering over the next couple of weeks.

Doll Surgery Kit Needs:
320 grit or higher sanding sponges
Soft artist’s pastels
Acrylic Paint
Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue (gold bottle)
Acid-free scrapbooking paper in various colors (foiling eyechips)
.44” Hot glue sticks
Makeup applicator style cotton swabs
Cotton balls
Tiny sewing scissors
Standard hole punch
Paintbrushes (1 square tipped firm, 1 fine tip, 1 angled tip firm)
Needle nose jewelry pliers (spring removal/attachment, arc removal)
Butter knife (great for prying!)
Painter’s tape
Isopropyl Alcohol (makeup removal)
Hair shears
Toothpicks (for spreading glue)
Tiny crochet hook (spring attachment, thatching hair)
Large serving bowl (for head soaking)
Testor’s Dull Cote or MSC
SEM Interior or Krylon Indoor/Outdoor or Krylon Fusion Spray Paint
Mohair
Saran Hair

While I have some of the stuff already here, I still need to purchase a lot. LOL evilbay here I come!

I really want to make a custom black Blythe hence the spray paint. I decided that I'll use Ginger for this experiment since she already has a Licca body, supposedly those bodies take paint better than the standard Blythe bodies.

Is it pay day yet? LOL

I finally have a pink hair girl! Nicki was a Hiking Trip LPS Blythe but thanks to bigeyewitness for sharing how to dye LPS Blythe hair. Nicki was delighted to be the 52wpb star! I also made the pillowcase dress for her to wear.

Anais got to travel with my hubby & I to Baton Rouge, LA from CA for the USBC National Bowling Tournament. Here she is in front of the LSU Football Stadium, doesn't she look chic in her new tunic (made by me, of course)?! ADAW, 52 weeks of Blythe.

These young ladies weren't photographed last week and let me know they didn't appreciate it. SOOOO, this week I decided that they would be the 52wpb stars!

Decisions... Decisions!!!

I participate in Swagbucks, a site that gives me points for doing what I do normally, search the web and participate in daily polls, NOSO, watching SwagTV and so much more. The cool thing about the points is you are able redeem your points for cool swag (pun intended) like actual money via Paypal, Starbucks gift cards and a lot more. I just redeemed my points for a $25 Amazon gift card. Now to decide what I want to purchase. LOL

My dilemma is I don't know if I should get some more Mini Lalaloopsy dolls OR LPS Blythe dolls OR even Monster High Dolls. I was going to use it to get the SS Frankie but I was able to snag her for $11.12 (currently awaiting her arrival). I'm leaning toward getting what I need to do a custom Black Blythe. I've been really inspired to make one for close to 4 years but was too afraid. Now that I'm actually get more comfortable with actually doing things to my dolls, I'm ready to tackle creating a Black Blythe. I'm also going to make a Black LPS Blythe. :-)

Here's to finally making up my mind!!

Okay Anais is a work in progress. She is a PD2S now with a Beatrice Vest Scalp. She needs eyelashes but those can wait for now. I haven't photographed her since she first arrived and she told me she felt neglected. Anais is our 52 weeks of Blythe and ADAW star!!
